Inspiration - Finding My Place Among Rock Star Women Entrepreneurs

I recently had the privilege of attending a Founders Night event alongside an inspiring group of women business owners—many of whom are absolute rock stars in the retail space. The event was hosted by the retail experts at UPNEXT/The Retail Playground

It was an evening filled with insightful conversations, shared experiences, and a strong sense of community. Being invited was an honor, and while I still consider myself somewhat of a newbie in this field, I was surprised at how naturally I felt at home among these powerhouse entrepreneurs.

Not too long ago, I might have questioned whether I truly belonged in a room filled with such accomplished women. But that night, I didn’t feel out of place—I felt supported, encouraged, and connected. These women weren’t just successful; they were also incredibly welcoming, proving that the entrepreneurial journey is not about competition but about lifting each other up. It was a reminder of how far I’ve come and how important it is to surround ourselves with people who inspire and empower us.

Thank you to the lovely folks at UPNEXT and The Retail Playground for facilitating such an extraordinary gathering of women. I can not wait until the next meeting!!
