I love creating product mock-ups using the surface pattern designs I have developed. It gives you a really good sense as to whether or not a particular pattern is suitable to a particular product. I have completed quite a few patterns which I had hoped for instance might be a good fit for fashion textiles but after seeing the pattern on a few mock-ups decided that the scale, design or sometimes both just does not quite work. However not all is lost, many times these patterns can be re-purposed for another product category such as stationary or gifts as well as the home decor fabric market
