News - Winter Window Display 2025

We are kicking off the holidays with a new window display made of upcycled and found cardboard.

For months I have been collecting packing materials to use in my display. Cardboard to make Gingerbread houses and packing peanuts for snow. I’ve also recycled some of the snowflakes I used from my very first Winter window display 2023. Those are pages out of an old encyclopedia I found for $1.

I started cutting out and drawing the Gingerbread houses in early September. Each house is double sided featuring a totally new design. I wanted the display to be just as attractive inside the shop as outside facing.

I’m super excited about how my windows look and hope it helps get everyone in the holiday spirit.

This was a fun challenge- to create something creative and unique without spending too much. With a little imagination (and lots of inspiration from Pinterest) it is possible to create something magical. My only cost (aside from my time) was the paint markers used to draw all the details.
