News - Spring has officially arrived at the shop!

I recently completed our newest window installation, a cheerful piece I’m referring to as “Daffodils Vibes.” The display features 42 pinwheels - each one in colors inspired by daffodils—soft yellows, fresh greens, and crisp whites. Above them hangs a green-and-white hand painted striped awning, adding a playful, market-style touch and framing the display below.

The goal was to welcome spring and capture the feeling of a flower shop in bloom—without actually using any flowers. Last year, I went “all in” with oversized paper blooms for our “Spring Blooms” display, and I wanted to challenge myself to create something entirely different this season while keeping that same sense of joy and renewal.

Like all of my window displays, this installation was designed and built by hand, using mostly found and repurposed materials. It’s important to me that our windows reflect the creativity, resourcefulness, and care that define the shop itself.

Most of all, I hope it makes people smile. Maybe it stops someone in their tracks. Maybe it sparks a little curiosity. And maybe that curiosity leads them inside to discover the thoughtful, locally made, and artisan goods we’re so proud to share—pieces created with intention, heart, and a story behind them.

If you’re passing by, take a moment to look up. Spring is spinning gently in the window.
