News - Our Bags Are Made With Sustainability In Mind

We are passionate about making quality handmade bags and give thoughtful attention to the materials used in the construction of our entire range of products.

Part of our story is understanding that our bags are not only functional (and good looking) but are constructed to be eco-friendly.

• We use water based inks to screen print our original surface pattern designs.

• The exterior and interior bag fabric is always 100% all natural - either cotton, linen or a blend of both.

• Bag linings are sewn using upcycled fabric which we source from donation centers, thrift stores and on occasion from fabric resellers. This helps keeps excess and unwanted textiles out of our landfills and waste stream.

• We intentionally design with a limited set of core materials. This allows us to inventory fewer fabric stocks, thereby avoiding fabric waste while reducing the overall cost.

• Because our production is small batch, our limited runs of handbags, ensures there is a low risk of overproduction and waste.
