It has always been a dream to return to Paris, I was there a very long time ago with my parents when I was (I think) no more than 10 or 11 years old.  At the time I could not even begin to appreciate the many wonderful things the "City of Lights" has to offer.  I do have some fond memories of that time, such as running on the train platform (literally, our cab got lost) to catch the midnight train from Paris to Geneva, Switzerland and a dinner where we were served pomme frittes (the real "French" fries) Those memories are however hazy at this point, perhaps in retirement I can plan a return visit.
